Climate Change Management

Functions
  1. Planning, formulation and review of policies, strategies and legislation on climate change;
  2. Coordination of research on climate change impacts, adaptation and mitigation;
  3. Promotion of climate change education, awareness, and training programs
  4. Engagement with local and international partners for both technical and financial assistance;
  5. Coordinate the domestication and implementation of bilateral and multilateral agreements relating to climate change adaptation and mitigation;
  6. Compile reports under the Climate Change Conventions and any related instruments e.g. National Communications, Biennial Transparency Report, etc.
  7. Coordinate and manage governance of the carbon market in Zimbabwe ensuring compliance towards emissions reduction, community development, and sustainability
